So, when does he start playing?

So are people going to say how Mancari was a no-show again, after all those quality scoring chances playing with McCormick and Niedermayer?

I won't say Mancari is going to be any impact NHL player, but he continuously goes from a scoring line in the AHL to a checking line on the Sabres for a game or two at a time. He didn't even get put on the left side during the PP to use his shot. Is this somehow supposed to prove anything about his NHL potential? It's totally up in the air and I don't think any of us can guess just what he could do until he plays (somewhere, anywhere) in the NHL on a scoring line where he's supposed to be.

One game proves nothing, no.

His inability to make this team through 4 training camps is all you need to know. He's had his chances.

Mancari is a career AHLer. When he leaves here, which will be after this season, he'll still be a career AHLer.

I suppose, but when the guy doesn't get a chance to play on a line with top players, he's not gonna do a damn thing. I don't think Mancari's ever been given his proper chance, regardless of how many times he hasn't made the team out of the preseason.

Mancari may have not attracted much interest, or playing bad cost potential suitors. If this is his last stint, it will not help his cause much. He should walk in the offseason.

But I think you have to just start with looking better than McCormick and Neidermeyer. He didn't look better than either. He also had one glorious chance to drop a bomb low low and passed the puck.

There was no sense of urgency in his game. If you aren't gonna drop that bomb of the shot, them muck it up in front of the net!

agreed. he has had his chances, but has yet to really prove himself. I would have personally liked to see Luke Adam get called up. Yea he doesn't provide the size that Mancari does but I think he showed a lot of promise in the times he was up here this season.

He uses the size he has better than Mancari.

Can't wait until Mancari is gone this off season so we can stop the silly discussion. He's not an NHL player, not with any viable team anyway. He might catch on with a Florida, or a Phoenix; but he's not worth his salt. 7th round pick, nice that he's successful in the AHL, but he's not a quality character guy (always bitching) and not a strong enough powerforward to make it in the NHL. Shame he doesn't have character qualities, because it would be great to have a career AHL player like him that can protect the kids in the AHL, and show them the way to being professionals.

Adam needs to work o. His skating is about it. Once he gets his NHL speed down he'll be dominate in the NHL ranks I thInk.
