It's a light hearted sentiment I guess, but you have to admit that is a very spot on observation. People who don't know what it means use it incorrectly, I guess because it feels safer to pretend you're cool then to remove all doubt. Oh the irony.

The fact that every time someone makes a point, and a couple people disagree, they get butthurt 10 ways to Sunday, and whine that their opinion 'doesn't count'.

People are going to disagree with opinions. If you can't handle that fact, internet message boards may not be the best use of your time.
