If he keeps up the confident, take charge type of play that he's shown lately, without the mindless defensive blunders once a week or two, I might think he's worth keeping as a potential #3 or #4 d-man.

I'm glad he is getting some recognition since he could not seem to get a star at all these past few games! Hopefully both he and Monty keep up their hot streak

He's doing great offensively, but I still get nervous whenever he has the puck in the defensive zone.

Good to see him getting some praise, but the game against the Penguins was a different story.

He could become a Brian Campbell...not that good at first, but then turns into a star.

What has Brian Campbell done since leaving Buffalo besides winning a Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks?

Nothing.

you mean besides his high offense output from the blueline?

campbell may be overpaid, but hes played some good hockey since leaving buffalo 3 years ago.

I think he was being sarcastic, while also noting the fact that Campbell won a cup.

Define "good hockey" here.

Brian Campbell may be playing "good," but he is paired with better defensemen.
