That puck was on edge when Gerbe shot that, if he did that on purpose then he is a bad mother. Thomas was pretty much brilliant for the bruins but the Sabres had a ton of PP time and a sweet bounce for the game winer, he really fought that shot.

One of those games where I feel like the team that effed up the least won it

MANGO SALSA!!!!! OLE!

You lost me :)

Yeah, kinda random, I admit...

Years ago, in Chara's first year or two with the Bruins, WGR had a commercial for "Zdeno Chara's Mango Salsa" with a really bad Chara impersonation where Chara sounded like Frankenstein.

Man-go Zal-za!

Oh okay, off my radar. For a minute there you took me back to the Micheal Oullete days of Pengiuins hockey, his MB nickname was Mango. I'll try and find a pic...

Best game I've been to in years.

That building is LOUD. You have no idea.

I love my Sabres, but they REALLY need to step up their gameday stuff. Boston blows HSBC out of the water,

That's what great about that barn. I like going to games there, they even get loud when Florida comes to town. Kinda stinks that there are less half price upper bowl tickets now that the Bruins are good.

Although I find it kinda funny when they play that song "Stand Up and Shout" from the movie "Rockstar" starring local boy Marky Walberg. I mean Kim was a guy!!!!!

I've decided I'm going to make it my mission to try to make the arena louder. I actually somehow started the first "Let's Go Buffalo!" chant at the Pegula-day game vs. the Thrashers. It made me realize everyone just has to unclinch their asses and start yelling and cheering and hootin' and hollerin' and all that jazz. When one person starts the rest of the arena picks up. We just have to start being persistent. Will you join my mission fellow junkies?

Big thing I noticed was that the Bruins are constantly keeping fans engaged when the play has stopped. Always music playing, people on the jumbotron, etc. They still do their promotions and stuff, but between stoppages in play they're cranking LOUD music ALL the time. It's closer to lax / basketball than hocke. But effective.

Thanks to Gerbe, we won the game. The Bruins are not my favorite team at the moment.

I just watched the game on DVR and man what a bunch of whiny bitches. Their announcers cry like little kids whenever a Bruin gets touched then say things like "Just some good hard hockey there" when a Bruin face rapes a Sabre. Anything they do is magical and the definition of skill where as any team that plays them is blessed by the luck fairy and the unicorn piss in their water bottles. Any penalty a Bruin takes is unfair and an excuse as to why they lose where anytime a Sabres hits someone on their team they should be shackled in cuffs and hauled to the box.

Fuck I hope MSG get's their contract shit together with Dish Network so I can hear RJ and not have to suffer through these fucking retards.

Likewise, ditto, agreed, god DAMN that obnoxious little twat almost drove me to smash my TV last night. The only condolence, was, of course...our comeback and subsequent spanking of the "B"s.

Is that Beninati? Who is that atrocious little cunt anyways?

B's broadcast team is Jack Edwards (PBP) and Andy Brickley (color). Both are terrible. Some Bruins fans even hate Jack Edwards.

He's Steigerwald bad as far as obnoxiousness goes, but he's got a long way to go too top Steigy's whining. At least that Boston guy knows how to bitch and then let it go, Steigerwald will rant and revisit the rant for half the game, he literally ruins entire games.

OBNOXIOUS FANS, HOLY SHIT. I wish nothing short of misery for Bruin's fans.
Horrible OBNOXIOUS announcers.
Cheap shots. Chara, Boychuk, Lucic. A bunch of fucking goons.

Bruins typical comeback: AT LEAST I DON'T LIVE IN BUFFALO

Well, I've been to Boston before. It's not much better.

The only real thing that ever bothers me about Bruins fans and going to Bruins games is ... I'm just a little tired of hearing, "Rough...just like yur motha likes it.", every time I wear my Lindy Ruff jersey to a game. While at the same time, that guy wants to fight me when I reply, "Gee, your father said the same thing when I boned him. ZAZOOOOOO!"

Just like the Bruins players...when you get the better of their fans, they just want to start fighting.

Ehhh, I dunno about that. I've lived just outside of Boston for about 12 years...I think it edges out Buffalo, as much as I hate to write that. Sure there are places in Revere, Chelsea, Everett, Dorchester, Jamaica Plain, and Charlestown you don't need to to ever visit, but if you don't count the overwhelming abundance of obnoxious people (think transplants wearing Silver Pats jerseys first and green license plate people last), the ridiculous politics, the incredible "townieness" of every town outside the city, lack of a train system that runs after last call, the fact that many places try to sell Labatt's blue as an import beer for $10 a 6 pack, that you have to go to a package store most of the time and pay package store prices for beer, the fact that they seemingly can't differentiate the difference between NYC and NYS, the lack of decent snow removal other than this past winter, the fact that I think the entire city is run on the parking ticket revenue it generates, that it took them until about 5 years ago to allow alcohol purchases on Sundays, that no matter what time of day there is always a ton of traffic on Rt. 93 and you can't get anywhere at 3pm on a Friday, the fact that the state drivers manual omitted the section on merging into and out of traffic, it takes over 10 years to fix a small onramp or overpass, they only use 24 of the 26 letters of the alphabet, that the Lighthouse outside their football stadium seems to be small when contrasted with the oval "lips" of the stadium surrounding it, that it cost $50 to park 2 miles from your seat in that stadium...

...its not a bad place to live.

And yes I wrote this while wasting time waiting for the traffic to die down.

Heard that comeback 3 times in the shitter at the end of the game. I just laughed and yelled scoreboard.

And honestly, Boston is a really nice city. Doesn't have all the charm that Buffalo does, but I really love this place.
