What the title says - the Rangers are increasing ticket prices an average of 23 fucking %. What a huge joke that is.

It's the most overpopulated place in the world, I'm sure they will find many willing to buy them.

I love New York...but a lot of people hate the "New York state of mind" attitude, where everyone from New York feels entitled and better than everybody simply because they're from New York. It gets tired fast.

Tokyo is more densely populated than NYC.

buffalo has some of the cheapest tickets in the league already, with less seats and less press boxes than a lot of arenas

pegula is spending a lot of money to get the team and property the way he likes it

sure, he's willing to eat some money, but i don't think he'll want to every year.

better arena, better products (on the ice), better fan service = higher demand, thus price increase.

Whoops, I was wrong, NYC is more densely populated than Tokyo.

I never said the World, NYC is still almost 28K per mi2 though, which is a lot of people.

Union City, New Jersey is actually the most densely populated place in America, it's on the top 50 list of cities, it's 41st.

Assuming that there will be price increases is reasonable.

Assuming those increases wil be 'substantial' is a bit much.

He's not going to jack ticket prices if he doesn't care about money.
