I don't know if this is a sign that he's here permanently, I remember him having blue and gold pads way back when he was first called up a few years ago, they could very well be the same ones.

But with only 12 or so games left this season I guess it doesn't really matter.

To be honest, I really liked the contrast of his black and red gear with his blue and gold uniform. Really stuck out.
