I hope the lass can get the 24th off. Should know tomorrow if we're going to be coming to Buffalo for the service next Thursday and the game on Saturday against NJ.

This trip will be bitter sweet because of the Martin memorial service, but the rest of the trip is a MUCH needed vacation.

I'm finding that in a lot of games turning up the difficulty doesn't actually improve the skill of the AI; it just makes them cheat more.

Ugh, I hate feeling twisted up over this...

Was supposed to go out with my friend, who is a girl, and who I actually kinda like, but she canceled on me, saying that it was just her and her girls going out. Which is fine, I mean I really didn't wanna go out for St. Patricks anyway. Then she texts me at 1:15 and says "Good thing you didn't come out with us, it sucked, my ex was there all night and wouldn't leave me alone."

It's just kinda like ugh, because she kinda dropped me like a bad habit a few months ago over this same ex. Seems like he's always around her, and I'm not sure I really wanna deal with that drama. Just frustrating I guess.

Yeah I always found that in football games. The same plays still worked, I just fumbled more. Like fuck, play better defense.

That's how NHL 06 is, I can still successfully play the same system, my goalie just stops less and my team line changes at even more inopportune moments (even though I have it on manual, the players don't immediately get off, they wait until a seemingly random time).

Colorado weather is fucking nuts. I mean it was in the 80's just an hour south of here for the last two days and then it snowed overnight. These mountains make weather prediction kind of like the lottery. They were planning for highs in the high 70's all weekend with no wind and now it's gonna be cloudy and super windy. There go my plans for a nice round of discgolf Sunday. Ugh.

What does your friend do? I live in the Springs as well. Sabres fan? I'm looking for another Buff fan so I don't feel retarded yelling at the tv when my other friends who don't like hockey come over.

She's a teacher, she's not really a hockey fan at all to be honest. She always tried to watch the games with me, but that was just for the simple she wanted me. Lol. She's kinda fugly these days anyway.

Yeah, go figure...I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to give up about 3/4 of my friends if I ever do decide to take that plunge. But given my luck with women recently, I don't have to worry about that anytime soon.
