Tough call on this one, but I had to cast my vote to Rob Ray. ;)

Ennis of course, Enroth a runner up, and I thought Gerbe was a rookie?

Ennis.. then Enroth.. enroth got us some clutch games.. Ennis is just a beast though for his size.. he is so calm with the puck.. he is what Max Afinogenov always wanted to be.. a fast, goal scoring winger with great hands and can finish.. so impressed with him

Could Enroth even be considered in this category? Wouldn't he be in the run for it next year?

I think Enroth really could be considered a little closer to Ennis. In 8 games he's earned 11/16 possible points, and put up very solid numbers. Given that Lalime is 0-5; leaving roughly 10 points on the Table for the Sabres, I'd say Enroth has been much more impact that people are giving him credit for, especially given where we are now in the standings. Those 11 points are pretty crucial. Shame he wasn't backing up all year long, because even if we got 5 of those 10 possible points Lalaime gave up we'd be sitting much better off in the playoff standings.

That being said, Ennis is a very unique talent, and I don't know what the limit on his potential is, but I have a feeling in a few years we could be comparing him to a poor mans Pavel Bure.

I agree Enroth is more important than some people give him credit for, but the fact of the matter is, he's only played 8 games as compared to what could be a full season for the Menace. Thing about all the points Enroth earned, he's stayed sharp due to not being Ryan Miller's little buddy and instead getting starting minutes in Portland.

Ennis for the Sabres indeed, Adam is a lock for AHL ROTY though.
