who knows, but it appears this stalemate is ending, and likely ending with the yotes staying put. but we shall see.

The Hurricanes have a solid enough fanbase to stay in North Carolina Mike.

The close to the bottom attendance numbers would dispute that.

20th this year. Not terrible for a southern market.

Selling 88% of the seats in a place where hockey was basically unheard of 15 years ago? Is that really a failure?

how many of those fans are canes fans, and how many are there to see northern teams?

teams from the north whose fans transplanted are the only reason why teams like carolina and florida exist.

Good.

Glendale has given the team enough money already. At some point they have to be able to stand on their own. If they can't, then move them to some where they can.

Latest update...FAN 590 is claiming the NHL will be moving the Coyotes to Winnipeg as soon as they're no longer in the playoffs.

Just a blurb on their website, no story, no links, no sources.

http://www.fan590.com/

Coincidentally, TSN Radio debuted today. Huh.

I'm wearing my Winnipeg Jets jersey today too! What a coincidence!

Bill Daly already denied the report

And now Kypreos has already backtracked, changing "will" to "could"

Oops. Smooth, Kypper.

That dirty Bastard!

And here I was at work, all happy with what I had just read. An end to the whole Coyotes drama and the return of the Jets.

Guess I'll hold off on making a retro Jets jersey for my collection a little longer then...

More talking heads are coming forward saying the deal is "as good as dead" and "like a terminal patient"

I just don't buy a story that hinges upon the analyst using the word "could".

We'll see once they're actually out.

ive heard from the dude who runs jersey database (hes a good source of news, but again, nothing official, just naming my "source") that if the NHL returns to winnipeg, they wont be the jets. they will retain the moose name.
