Where is it supposed to be? I can't think I've ever heard of that place.

I'm really not too sure, Tom. Tara mentioned it tonight as a place that Rico owned and it was supposed to be on the US side of Niagara. She wanted to stop by there on our way down/up on Thursday or on Saturday/Sunday for the game.

I couldn't find anything on the place, so that leads me to believe that it is a place of days gone by.

I remember hearing about it, but I don't think it's been open for years and years.

Just got back from looking at Can-Am Spyders with my dad. He's seriously considering buying 2 of them, so he and I have a project to work on this summer. Either that or we're also looking at a 2000 Camero SS package car to rebuild and redo.

I love when my dad gets crazy ideas like this, it usually means I get a cool toy to play with all summer; and then when we finish repairing or restoring our project we sell it and split the profit.

Although if we get the Can-Am's we're just gonna end up taking a few long road trips and stuff like that. But still, they're freaking sweet.

http://en-us.spyder.brp.com/discover/di ... dster.aspx

Link above is so you guys can see what I'm talking about if you don't already know.

I have my motorcycle license, but don't own a bike right now, so having one of these would be a sweet alternative, especially since they're far more comfortable than a crotch rocket on long trips, but have tons of balls at the same time.

I talked to my cousin this morning about something unrelated, and asked him about that. Said it used to be in Niagara Falls, but yeah, has been closed for years.

Knowing we're going on vacation tomorrow, it was a little easier to wake up this morning. Sky was blue, the air was cool and crisp….

This day couldn't be anymore deceiving.

-Wake up at 8am
-Step on a cat.
-Didn't realize how full the garbage bin was outside as I needed to get it to the road for pickup and strained my back.
-Dropped the bin, cracking it.
-The compost bin is completely frozen into one big ball of rotten ice.
-Realize all the other recyclables are in the shed and the truck is 2 houses down from us (@*#^#%@!)
-Can't find the key to the shed.
-Find the key in the junk drawer.
-Grabbed the bags of cardboard and plastic and run out the door.
-One bag gets caught on the door and rips. Cardboard goes everywhere. (Recycling truck is one house away now)
-Grab another bag and gather all the cardboard.
-Got it all out at the road just as the truck arrives.
-Getting ready for work, I put two contact lenses in one eye and thought the eye with no lens in it HAD one in it and tried to take it out to clean it as it seemed blurry. My eye is very bloodshot now from trying to pluck out my god damn eyeball.
-Heading out the door, realize I have no coffee cream or milk for my coffee so I'm sitting at work drinking it black.
-Receive confirmation email from Air Canada that tells me I can check in now for the flight to Toronto tomorrow only to find out I fly out at 5:45am and Tara is on the 6:35am. (WTF!?)

This day can fuck off anytime now...

Edit: Turns out when booking our flights, the glitch was actually a user malfunction, but has since been corrected (For a fee, of course). We now fly out together on the 6:35am, putting us in Toronto at 7:59am then driving to Buffalo. I'm so ready for this vacation, I don't even....

I laughed long and hard at this one. Sorry, man, hope tomorrow is better for you.

I love it that I've been playing hockey for 25 years, but someone who has only watched the game since the lockout tells me I don't know what I'm talking about.

Thinking about upgrading my skates, to CCM Vector 6.0's. Anybody wear them? Local Skate shop has them on sale for 140.00; which matches pretty much the best price on line, and doesn't cost me shipping. I tried them on, and they're pretty nice, fairly comfortable, and a pretty stiff boot which I really like.

My dad went to florida for a week; without my mom, because she has to work.

He called me last night at 4:30am telling me how drunk he was, and that he played golf all day. Then told me how much of a dumbass I was, and hung up...

I immediately wanted to call everyone I've ever drunk dialed and apologize right then and there. You just haven't lived until your 64 year old father has drunk dialed you...
