Friday is huge. Sabres want TBL over CAR, VAN over ATL and PIT over NJD would be nice but not really crucial

NJ will fall short. They gave it one hell of a run though to even get back in the picture. I definitely salute them for that.

I think CAR will beat the TBL. Such and up and down team the Lightning are.

BOS won 7-0 (!!!)
OTT won 2-1 in the shootout

The Sabres are four back of NYR with 2 games in hand and only six back of MTL with 2 games in hand. Sabres have a chance to do some damage this weekend.

Leafs play Detroit tonight. Bolts play Canes. Sabres play Devils.

A perfect storm would have the Sabres effectively kill the Devils, take a 5 point lead on the Canes, and a 7 point lead on the Leafs.
