Jeremy White has been talking about a plan to get a huge group of Sabres fans down to the RBC center for the 4/3 game, show up in Hurricanes gear, then take all that off at faceoff to reveal our Sabres gear.

I'm thinking that I'm down for this. Anyone else up for a roadie?

Sounds like an epic plan and I'd be on board but I can't afford the hundreds of dollars :(

Same. Tickets, travel, Carolina gear. Not compliant to my budget. :(

I like it, but the sheer number of Sabres fans means the Trojan horse method isn't necessary, a frontal assault would work just fine ;)

Canes fans would never hold up in a war of attrition haha

i thought about it and my uncle offered his place to stay in lexington (he's a former buffalonian) but I don't think I'm down for the fatigue of driving 1500 miles round trip in the span of a few days.

Yeah, I hear ya. I don't mind the 900 round trip from Buffalo to Boston and back, but that drive going south sucks dick through West Virginia.

I'm fishing around with a group that's renting a bus, although I might take a flight to Myrtle Beach and just drive up. There's direct flights to Myrtle from the Niagara Falls airport, which is right around the corner, although their fares are a bit nutty. Sometimes it's cheaper with them, other times round trip tickets with a connection are cheaper.

Driving for 18-20 hours doesn't make you manly.

It makes you dangerous.

no kidding. i was so warped on my way back from leadville, i turned down the wrong way on a highway (not expressway, a 4 lane highway) in suburban chicago... thankfully it was 3 am and no one was around so i caught my mistake.

point is. a 10 hour trip to north carolina.. get in on a thursday, leave sunday. no big thing. long drives suck, but very very do-able. alex should do it... considering how much he hates the canes.

My house is always an option to stay at then. For a few people of course. Hell, I live 30 minutes from RBC.

I'll be at the game though.

Hell yeah, cmon down guys. I'm not sure about the whole 'buy carolina gear just to take it off and surprise some people' thing, cuz theres already swarms of Buffalo fans at the games, no one gets real irked that they're there...it's like canes fans dont know enough to know they're supposed to give us shit! stupid bastards.
