If you wear a jersey to games and don't expect it to get stained at some point you're unrealistic. Stains are part of the memory. My Pominville practice jersey that I used to wear looks like it tried to eat a plate of wings by itself.

I was at that game, and the Sabres crowd really gave it to them after McKee scored for a 3-1 lead. I was in an upper corner with a very loud contingent. I think the worst stuff I yelled was, "You're still the crappy Whalers to me". The best part was that nobody but Sabres fans got it. I missed out on the rowdy stuff though, as my buddy and I get out fast before I have to witness the angry aftermath. It's better for my job that way.

Yeah, the ugly stuff happened during the angry aftermath, so it's no surprise you did miss it.

Got to love Canes fans on my hockey team, which are all good people, and we give each other hassling.

Only takes a few to ruin the entire fanbase perception, which is unfortunate, because i know Canes fans and most of them are respectable to me and don't care that I'm a Sabres fan.

I did every team since 1990. So Hartford has it's own category until 1997 and the Carolina has its own from that point forward. Since the basis is a percentage of available seats, the numbers are comparable.

The only franchise I combined was the Northstars/Wild since its the same city, same fanbase.

Yeah I got timed out two years ago too. The canes were getting ass-whooped by the pens and their fans were complaining that said the pens cheated/got lucky in drafting crosby, malkin, and fleury. All I did was point out that the league is set up to encourage parity and that's what the draft system does.

They banned me by IP (which is funny because I'm not at home), and in order to register an account you need to answer a "security" question (like what color is the canes third is a tough question) and get approved by a mod. But I think since the NHL combined all the forums, you can make a name on any other team's site and go over there?
