I've been sick in bed since Wednesday, thus my late reaction to download it. Whoever uses firefox, any comments and feedback on the new 4.0 version. I've noticed it's a little different layout but haven't noticed anything major in terms of performance.

One complaint - the awesome bar doesn't let you just type in a string of words and automatically get redirected to the closest site in terms of word matching.

My must-have addons are AdBlock Plus, Add To Search Bar, Barlesque, Google Shortcuts, NHL Scoreboard, and Roomy Bookmarks Toolbar.

I'm growing to like it, haven't had the chance to add all my addon's yet but I'll be starting that shortly. Do any of you use another browser? I've been receiving great reviews about Google Chrome

I prefer Google Chrome above everything. As far as performance goes its in a league of its own, the thing flies....

I use Google Chrome, and yes, there are add-ons. I only have Adblock and the panic button, but I know there are more. I'm too simplistic an internet user to really care to have more.

I have Chrome, FF 4, and Safari on my computer, and well, so far, FF 4.0 is the best for me, it really does fly, it's faster then Chrome now.

I like Safari on my phone of course, and I'll only use Chrome if FF is being gay.

Chrome for personal browsing...FF for web development...Safari and IE for lame backwards compatibility issues only ;)

I like the look of the interface of 4.0 better. All of the buttons and applications are now at the top left, making it convenient.

I never right click for refresh though...going to have to get used to that. Overall it seems to be a good update.

So I fixed the awesome bar with a little help. Had to venture into the fun about:config screen to do it.

If you get "Invalid URL" responses when you try to search from the awesome bar, do this:

1. Go into about:config and click "I'll be careful"
2. Set keyword.enabled to True
3. Set keyword.url to http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&o ... &gfns=1&q=

No, it wasn't.

That statement will get your ass kicked if uttered around any front end developer.
