Looks like one of your fellas at the Canes boards was so cranked to get more home fans at RBC, that he gave out the STH code and unwittingly allowed a slew of Sabres fans to snatch up tickets for 75% off.

You might be pretty swell, but I think I like that dumbass even better.

I already bought my tickets though. I'll be in section 304, upper level right in the middle on the bench side...a perfect view but still in sight and ear shot of the Sabre rowdies. I might be one of them this time around.

Can't say that Canes fans were ever the smartest.

I'd love to see the Canes make the playoffs. As long as they knock the Rags out of the way in doing so. Can't stand the Rangers.

LOL that jack wagon spews his shit on all message boards including sabres. He's who my name is in honor of since his grand crusade popped up on multiple canes boards. Im pretty swell but mostly I just like a good hockey game.

Skinner was the steal of the draft and if he doesnt get the calder Ill be pissed. Its suppose to go to the rookie most valuable to their team and the cnes would be in 12th without his goals and fiesty play. This kid will break many records in his career.

It has nothing to do with rookie most valuable to their team, that's the Hart and most valuable player. The Calder Trophy is merely presented to the rookie adjudged to have the best season.

Yes, and as they were describing it last on On The Fly, it'll come down to who has been the most valuable to their team because the numbers are so close. The putz Jack Edwards from the Booins put his vote in for Skinner on NESN and he hates the Canes. Of course Millbury wanted Brad Marchand- now thats a homer cuz that kids name hasnt even been mentioned heading down the stretch.
Skinner has been on top of the rookies list all season ling and the only that looks bad his plus minus buy thats what you get playing on a team with no freakin defense most of the time. Just ask Cam Ward who has the most saves record .

I'd have to vote for Skinner too. It's close, but I think he deserves it.

I know it doesnt mean shit but compared to Couture whos 1/2 q game shy of not being considered a rookie, Skinner is the real definition of a rookie at 18 stepping into the NHL playing top minutes all season long with no previous pro experience. He's one goal behind Couture but none of his were empty netters, 6 were PP and 2 were game winners.

That Karlsson kid in Wash has been talked about lately.

The age thing is enough for me. It's absurd to me how Skinner has done what he's done at 18 years old. Absolutely insane. You just don't see kids come in and play like he has at that age.

I would vote for 96 year old Jimmy Howard. He's still a rookie, right?

Dude! You like hockey, hate Jack Edwards and the Bruins, make fun of stupid fans even if their your own, and even seem to know something about the sport with your Skinner commentary (I agree he should be ROTY). Stick around, and if you're going to the Canes/Sabres game you have to come by section 304 for beers.

I'll be at the game on Sunday in section 118, can't freaking wait.

And I agree also, no one but Skinner should take ROTY honors. He had a slow streak last month, but the kid is gonna be a great player for years to come.

I think Couture, Skinner, and Crawford will be the 3 nominations with Skinner taking it home.
