Yeh, he was good samaritan just helping out Cole. Who's the coach looking right at them? Lindy turns his head "good job boys, if I look the other way I can pretend I didnt see it"

And no penalty minutes do not have to be even to be fair. The canes got the calls last night and buffalo did not. It was one sided and not fair. If you're going to call weak penalties call them on both teams. A fair game is not always balanced because some teams downplay better and do not takeany penalties and others do. Call it that way and it'll be fine.

That hook on butler that skinner drew. Was crap. Skinner locked his arm on butlers stick and I don't know why butler didn't just let go of the stick because it would have been a clear cut hold on skinner since his stick would be in his arm for a few more seconds since that happened right in front of where I was sitting.

there was definately a few more that could have called for either side but the sabre's got a way with a few too

You have to admit that McCormick's clearout was the SHIT.

McCormick had a clean hit on Jokinen. It was right in his chest.

The crosscheck Stafford Or was that Myers put on Skinner towards the end should have been called, but it was funny. Just because Skinner was trying to hit Myers.

He was honestly just being a nice guy and helping get the stick unstuck. Can't do anything nice anymore for people. Soooo ungrateful.

McCormick throwing Jokinen into the quiet room was awesome and it was clean. Jokinen was wacking at the puck and Enroth's pad and Cody cleaned the house with a frontal check to the chest. Nothing's wrong with that.
In the second picture Stafford got pushed into Ward after driving to the net. Incidental.

Like said before, only no-call against the Canes was the check on Skinner, but there were several against us. Boyes getting highsticked while having the puck, goalie interference when the Cane player drove into Enroth without a Sabre near him (I don't have a problem with not calling that, but they called GI against Gaustad minutes later and he didn't do much).

It definitely was a one sided officiated game in favor of the Canes. The Refs pissed me off last night.

Anyone find a pic of Enroth making the save with no mask? Looking for a high res shot for my screen saver.

The follow through may have gotten high, but the initial check was a shoulder to the chest.

Check out the 2nd angle on the video on NHL.com. Thundered him clean.

It wasn't right in the head. Look at the replay. He's hitting his chest. His hands slip up on the follow through as Jokinen starts flying. But the initial contact is the chest.

Nah, Miller is our number one without question. Enroth affords us some breathing room though if anything happens unlike we've had for years. Our back up situation has been a joke for a long time. one day though....who knows maybe the kid will be a monster and take over when Miller switches from skates to Depends.

The only controversy is on message boards and blogs. Miller is the clear #1, he goes when he's healthy.

there is no goalie controversy. this is millers team, and he will play. enroth, once the post season rolls around, should be sent down to portland to get some AHL playoff experience. thats what i think.

the kids played wonderfully, but its millers team.

I felt bad for him back in November when they chose Enroth over him, but Enroth showed it was the right decision and Lalime has 1 million reasons to get over it.

Just to reiterate again, with aid from slow motion replay of the hit, Cody McCormick hit Jussi Jokinen with his arms crossed in the chest from the front.
