The Penguins are basically the new Jersey Devils, except that instead of feasting on n-zone turnovers they do it off of o-zone turnovers. The Sabres are more susceptible to o-zone mishaps than they are in the n-zone, which is what makes it a bad match up for the Sabres. But, given how bad the Penguins power play is, they can actually relax and play more aggressively in their own zone. Because even if the Penguins play 5 or 6 times a night on the power it's still unlikely that they burn you.

The Penguins are not good at face-offs either, so puck control actually favors the Sabres provided that they move their legs and don't make bad passes.

Fleury is a head case.

I'd like to play either Boston or Philly. But at the same time I'd rather not play either. Looking at the rosters of these 2 teams they are made for the playoffs.

This is off topic but I was just watching the Rangers VS Devils game and Drury just got his first goal of the season; or first goal in 25 games. Lol the decision to let him walk looks better each and every season.

Just wondering if anyone knew why Philly is ranked #2 in the East while Pittsburgh is ranked #4? They both have 104 pts but Pittsburgh has more wins? I thought the first tie breaker was wins... Anyone clear that up? Thanks!!

Your right it is wins but its the row column you have to look for. Philly has more regulation or overtime wins than Pittsburgh, therefore that is why the Flyers are in 2nd and the Penguins are in 4th. But that could change if Philly loses and Pittsburgh wins. Anyways i would like them to face the Bruins or the Flyers.

A Shootout Win basically doesn't count anymore as a win in the final standings.
