Versus can't possibly do that in the first round. I'm pretty sure local networks can cover the first two rounds before the national networks completely take over for the conference finals and the SC finals.

did you end up getting tickets? took me almost an hour to get mine for game 4. i was having winter classic flash-backs while i was calling and waiting on the internet..

yea, vs. carries them, then for the last round (2 rounds?) they switch to nbc

I got a question about the tickets for the 'If Necessary' games, how exactly does that work if you buy the tickets and then the series ends before the game? Im asking cause I will be going up to Buffalo in early may and am hoping the sabres make it to round 2 so that I may be able to get to see a game, which if they did make it to round 2 it would probably be towards the end of the series, or possible the beginning of the 3rd round *crosses fingers*

Edit: Just looked at the dates for the games of round 1, it would more than likely be in the middle/end of the 2nd round while Im up there (between the 7th and 9th)

If you purchase tickets for an if necessary game that doesn't happen, you're refunded.

VS has all the games first round, but it will most likely depend on which region for which game they broadcast.

Hey - does anyone know if Center Ice is picking up the TSN feed for game tonight??? I'm out of the area and don't get MSG, and the Versus broadcast down here is for Montreal-Boston. Kinda nervous I'm gonna miss it!!
