My son dunked my cell phone in my coffee this morning and the strip on the end of the LG battery turned colors. I was told that this means water damage and it's cooked. Anyone know about this?

That color I think means water damage, not necessarily cooked. You can get it fixed though.

The strip is there mostly for warranty purposes. If it's tripped, they won't cover it.
