Okay, so I've been getting texts from my friend about how the FBI has files that prove the Roswell incident. I thought it was bullshit. I still do, but I found some links CLAIMING this, so if anyone wants to read more into this, here's the chance.

There is a show on Discovery or History channel called I Know what I Saw. It's all real film footage of alien sightings, the live as it happens audio recordings, and dozens of highly respected people telling their stories, some of which are retired 5-star generals who are allowed to speak about it now. If you want to re-think what you believe about UFO's then you will find that show very interesting.

Personally, I believe that anything is possible, and have zero doubt that the government would lie and distort the truth for whatever gains they might have. My thinking is that if there are intelligent beings that can travel through space, then we would simply be a tourist attraction. Very interesting to check out once in awhile, but you have to be careful not to disturb the delicate ecology of humans. They tend to freak the fuck out.

If the government knows for a fact that humanoid aliens exist and has for the last 50 years, why are we still spending hundreds of millions trying to find microbes on mars that may or may not be bacteria?

If there were actual evidence (ie not a random blog on the internet, or a conspiracy theory show on TV) it would be proven and widely accepted by the scientific community.

Wake me up when that happens.

I believe there are intelligent beings out there, and that UFOs are real. I am not against the government covering it up though. If the truth was radical enough for it to send people into mass hysteria, then I'd cover it up too. Take the War of the Worlds radio show back in the 1930s that sent everyone into a frenzy.

I love the alien/paranormal/unexplained. I'd listen to Coast to Coast more, but it's on so damn late.

If it were a proven fact, faith wouldn't be needed.
There are thousands of people that have been trying to prove the existence of aliens for a hundred years and no one has.

proving aliens exist or don't exist is like proving God does or doesn't. no real evidence on either side. speculation and anecdotes.

actually, the smartest people in the world (hawkins-types) say that it's pretty much a mathematical certainty that there is not only alien life out there but intelligent life. that's considering the odds it took to make earth possible and the uncountable amount of similar solar systems out there, there's just too much out there for us to the only ones.

Now as for beings that can defy physics as we know it and travel through space...that's still up for debate. if you can travel through space like that, you could do anything. you could trigger a natural reaction in a planet and create a tsunami just too see how the ants in the ant house react.
