All I was trying to do was talk about the possibility that Briere got caught telling the truth, and the surrounding circumstances that could support that theory. Didn't need to get spun up into this.

You wanna know how many times I've said 'take me off as a mod' in the last 3 months? About 5.

The most bullshit thing about this moderator title is the fact that people just automatically assume that we're supposed to be nice and gentle,never argue with anyone, and not have opinions on anything. Every time someone doesn't like something, it's 'WHAAAAAA, HE'S A MOD!! HE SHOULD BE NICE!!'. Well, tough shit. I'm not always nice.

I've been shit on by other posters on the these boards for YEARS. There's another entire message board full of people who think I'm Satan BECAUSE I OBJECTED TO A BANNING by another mod. For the most part, I've say back and just took it, trying to play nice.

Well fuck it. It's boiling over now. I'm not going to be nice. I'm going to say what I feel like saying. And if people don't like it? They can tell me to fuck off right back. I'm a big boy. I can take it.

I just didn't like having to take the abuse and worry about snapping back and getting banned. I like posting here, despite the fact that it gets heated sometimes.

I don't have to agree with everybody, and I don't need everybody to agree with me. But I'd like to have some kind of security in case I decide to go ape shit because someone's going ape shit on me.

it's not even that. debates go from statements to abrasive ad hominem arguments in like four posts. it's fuckin annoying.

I'll tell you straight up. I'll never get into it with someone, then try to play the mod card after the fact. That game is played by other mods on other boards. That's not my thing.

If I get into it with someone, I let the other mods handle it. (Brian loves this. :p ) If a report comes in on a thread/post I was involved with, I don't touch it.

I'll never try to play both sides of the coin.

But he will swing from both sides of the batters box...
