I wanna talk about how the Sabres fans need to reach Banditland-esque noise levels, but you'll all shit on me.

Let the league/arena broadcast RJ mid-game and you got it.

Shameless self promotion. It's an article detailing the performances of each Eastern Conference team in their last thirty games heading into the playoffs.

Pretty interesting. If we win, it's going to be the Caps in round 2. That's going to be like two massive rams butting heads. The return of Roy/Hecht could prove pivotal.

I dunno bro. The NYR might just pull off the upset. A lot of pressure is on Ovechkin and the rest of the Capitals faithful. Let's not forget the NYR were 3-1 vs WSH this season.

I like the way the Sabres have played the last 3 or 4 months. Hell, at times I love the way they've played. Still, I think maybe many of you are looking at this series through blue-and-gold-colored glasses. Philly has depth that Buffalo just doesn't. The goaltending situation easily could be a key or could be the Sabres biggest advantage, or it could not. Depends on which Ryan Miller shows up. As we all know, we've seen the Ryan Miller the Vezina winner at times this year, and we've also seen Ryan Miller the 5th round pick at times this year.

Don't take this series lightly.

Indeed, and well said. I've seen one or two mentions of round two. Round fucking two? Seriously? We're just assuming we'll so easily get past the defending eastern conference champions?

This shit is making me nervous. AND THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY!!!!!!!

NO WAY, not this time, but Drury is an epic playoff performer and he could be the shot in the arm they need to make it a very entertaining series. Caps in 5, 6 if Drury and Lundqvuist play out of their minds.

Indeed. It was the mentioning of round 2 that pushed me over the edge and made me write that.

Mike Richards, Claude Giroux, Daniel Brire, Jeff Carter, Kimo Timmonen, Braydon Coburn, Chris Pronger, Scoot Hartnell, Chris Versteeg, Ville Leino

matches up pretty well with:

Thomas Vanek, Jason Pomminville, Brad Boyes, Drew Stafford, Tyler Ennis, Tyler Myers, Steve Montador, Jochen Hecht, Andrei Sekera

if you asked me which group of players I'd rather have on my team...sorry Sabres, but you wouldn't be it.

I think the margin of talent is a lot closer than you think, and it's the Sabres style of play and their performance that will decide the champion of round one. RAWRRR!!

I'm not nervous at all. Every story that I've seen that predicts the outcome of this series has one or more of the following 3 outcomes.

1. Sabres in 6.
2. Flyers in 6.
3. Flyers in 7.

I have not seen a single round 1 series prediction that has Sabres winning in 7, which is funny as if the series has basically been reduced to a toss up, with a game 7 home ice edge being given to the Flyers.

We're the 7th seed that's played like the1st or 2nd seed in the conference for almost 3 months?

Could Philly ramp up their play sure, they could. But after conceding the tie and not getting the extra point in OT....they wanted this matchup...well they got it.
