because the dude is last link to the hasek era. he was in buffalo for a decade and had some very good seasons for the sabres. and he always tried hard.

He was not lazy. And he played for us for a long time and deserves respect for that. Maybe not the reception that Marty got, but not being booed when he touches the puck, either.
