Geez, I should have realized this series would cause another rehash of the Drury/Briere saga. it will never die. I think everyone on this board and their children will have to die before people actually stop taking about July 1, 2007.

I know, it's sooooo 4 years ago. lol

And seriously, over the past 4 years crier of the cryers has scored OMGZ 218 points!! ewwwwww Connolly scored 194 points over that same period of time. 24 points over 4 years is 6 more points per year. All of this talk over 6 measly points per year. If I searched my couch I could find 6 points in between the cushions right now. whipdee dooo.

Let's play some hockey and eff brier

And eff judge drury too, and his stupid little league history. wow 151 points in 4 years be still my heart. Gaustad has put up 118 and played better defense too.

They're all riled up over it. Little do they know, they've fallen right into his troll plans.

I know right?
Philly fans can't seem to accept that a win is a win and they're down 1-0. They keep dwelling and say "that goal was shit, we outplayed them so much blah blah blah" I think they forget to realize that the refs gave them plenty of chances to score with loads of questionable calls on us while blatently ignoring all but one offense against us. Philly just could not score on Miller and our defense. It's also annoying that Philly fans are like," whatever, we're the number 2 seed so we're automatically the better team. Sabres fans have been shitting themselves the past couple weeks while we haven't had to worry for a long time." I don't think they realize how stupid they sound when they say shit like that. By their logic, all low seeds will lose. Do they not realize they were a low seed last season and made it to the SCF? I feel dumber sometimes after reading some fan reactions.

Winning this series will put that memory to bed.

Meh, I doubt that.

Look how often the subject comes up when neither player is even involved? Some people are never going to get over it.

I feel as though it'll put more faith in our current players.

If we start turning into a powerhouse once more, who's going to care about July of 2007? I'm certainly not.

I'm saying that no matter what happens, someone will always bring those two up.

I'm certainly over it. Plenty of people aren't.
