what i love about enroths shell is the trim. thats a gunnarsson trademark, you can spot one of his masks a mile away because he always puts on a bitchin trim.

Here are some photos' of current NHL goalie masks. I don't see one with a stone wall, but this is not all of them. I'm not saying that they're not out there but your blanket statement makes it seem that is the norm when I would beg to differ.....

Only two masks have any bricks of any sort whatsoever...Turco's masks (Gargoyles sitting on battlements) and Khabibulin's homage mask (eagle above brick wall).

That makes three total (Turco, Khabibulin, Enroth) out of 64 goalies with stones or bricks on their masks.
