It's Ilya Brysgalov's mask, love the drawings on both sides. I'm assuming their from his kid or a family member....

His children drew them, which is awesome.

That I haven't heard. Are you thinking of the Olympics forcing him to remove it from his Team USA backplate because of its stance on corporate slogans?

Yes it is. It's like bringing your children's' art to work and posting it on your office wall

Did it occur to you how illogical that is?

Miller beer gets free advertising in a sport they already advertise in. Why would they spend money and sue to stop that?

That is pretty stupid.

If it's not shiny or to your liking, it's obviously absurd.

I'll time you out for being a fucking prick and insulting me for no reason. You called me a fangirl all because I said I thought that the brick on his mask was too common. Grow up. Whenever we have a disagreement you immediately insult me. I'm telling you to stop, or you will be timed out. Simple.

"Fangirl" is an bad enough insult for a being timed out :? wooooooooooooooooooow. I have definitely seen worse insults spewed on this board and nothing happened

in all the disagreements between you that i've seen it looks like you antagonize and he escalates. it's sketchy to not play nice then pull the mod card.

Here are some photos' of current NHL goalie masks. I don't see one with a stone wall, but this is not all of them. I'm not saying that they're not out there but your blanket statement makes it seem that is the norm when I would beg to differ.....
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/multimedia/photo_gallery/1101/nhl-goalie-masks-by-team-2010-11/content.1.html

edit: I changed the link to one of the current season which has all the teams goalies....found two with walls

I'm just saying that the brick wall is a pretty obvious and played out design to have on a mask. If you look at goalie masks from over the years, not just this season (or not even in the NHL), it's a pretty common and predictable design to have on a mask. Although I think Khabibulin's is cool given his nickname.

Really? Because I've never called anyone an idiot, a fangirl (or I guess fanboy), or told someone to fuck off before on here during a disagreement, but I get that all the time from him. I don't mind arguments or debates, but why is it OK to get insulted and then tell someone to stop only to get responded with a "Fuck you"?

Not the first time it's happened. And he wasn't timed out. I'm telling him if he doesn't stop with the insults he will be.

Okay. I will stop antagonizing and I hope NYIntensity will be mature enough to stop antagonizing me by throwing insults my way whenever he gets mad because there is a disagreement.

This thread has been derailed enough by myself and others. Enough of this.

Anyway....back on topic. I wonder if we'll get to see the mask soon? I would think the clear coating should be done by now. Although they probably put a crazy amount of coats on it to protect the design from 80+ mph slap shots.

I don't know...I think Miller goes through a few masks a season, but I wonder in the playoffs if he gets really superstitious and doesn't want to change his mask unless it breaks or something?

Well, his current mask is 1-1, so any "reasonable" superstition would go out the window based on that.

However, he IS a goalie, so you can forget about the "reasonable" superstition
