Garbage penalties called against, tons of missed calls (holding one of the sabres' legs between yours in the offensive zone, no high sticking call on Gerbe I think, no call for throwing the stick, and no call for Boucher ripping his helmet off).

The referees are costing us this series. It makes me want to fucking scream or cry. Not sure which.

There is no need to panic until the team is facing elimination.

A series can do a complete 180 in 1 game. Chicago was down 2-1 TWICE last year, and found a way to do it. Philly was down 3-0 and made it to the cup finals.

It's not over until you lose 4. Remember that.

It seemed like the crowd was absolutely raucous for most of the first period, and as the team faded, so did the crowd. I mean, beyond Gerbe's goal in the second, what the hell did they have to cheer for?

I think the Sabres are fortunate not to have been mercilessly boo'd.

The defensive zone turnovers killed the Sabres. Of course the cryers are going to dive for some power plays, but the Sabres really shit the bed tonight.
