You know...i'm thinking back to last year against boston, didnt he kind of shit the bed then as well? I at least remember him blowing a tire and giving them a GWG or something, but I dont quite remember how he played overall. Still, really surprising for someone who showed such solid play in regular season.

Actually he was awesome in Game 1 except for that untimely Tripping penalty. He looked rattled in Game 2 but he wasn't bad at all in Game 3, just didn't get the results.

And the reason why you have "steady veteran players" like Montador and YES MORRiSONN IS an established NHL veteran player. Is umm you know so they can I don't know...calm shit down once in awhile? Instead they are pouring gasoline over their heads while Myers and Butler are called upon to be the steadying influences.

It's bizzarro world out there.

I say go all out with the young players, fuck it. Gragnani has been great, bring in more of them, if the youth is going to lead than so be it.

Gaustad beared down in the d-zone tonight by winning 4 of 5. That's the HUGE area, and that's where the team relies on him heavily. He was not good in the d-zone in games 1 and 2 but he got it done tonight. I'm still pissed that he got victimized by that cryer Dive, but he didn't hit him that hard at all.
