Myers is nothing but 1/2 the player that he was in his rookie year. Hopefully he can turn it around if he doesn't we are done. The guys our only defenseman. Butler gives the puck away like a cheap hooker gives cheap tricks away out in front of Wells Fargo Arena.

Besides Gragnani's night there wasn't a D-Man on the team that even deserved to be playing in the NHL with the effort they were putting in.

The wiley vets (Grier and Nieds) seem to be the only ones on their "A" Game. Vanek's played alright so far. To bad we didn't get that #1 center at deadline day or this could have been a different story.

Other players that have played alright so far this series are Gerbe, Connolly and Weber.

7 out of a possible 18? players haven't showed up for a couple games. Most not for any of the 3 games. But who's counting right? Looks like another repeat of last season 4-1... Hopefully we turn things around...

Another reason why Darcy should have persued a veteran defenseman at the trade deadline.

Montador is nothing but herrendous this playoff season. But knowing our past I'm sure Darcy will resign the guy for a good 2-3 years again... And we'll keep seeing this shit go down on a yearly basis.

On another note anyone think Perrson is any good?

I'm not familiar with rookie call ups and crap but are the Sabres aloude to call up Kassian? I know he's not playing in Portland but we did sign him to an entry level contract if I do remember correctly that is... We could sure use a mean mother fucker who can score on this team against a hard hitting Flyers team... Just a thought so don't jump all over me with your replies. Thanks!!

It's not a good idea to throw a kid fresh out of juniors, who's never played a regular season NHL game, into an NHL playoff game, in a series in which his team is down 2-1.

My expectations are probably to high but I think with Vezina-Miller we would have won 1 of the last 2.

Besides the shutout in game one, he's playing like an absolute average goalie. I guess we dont really have much to complain about, except that we've come to expect more from him.

I've always hated Miller. So I 100% agree with you on the fact that he is nothing but average. Yes he has great moments but every goal has great moments. Just a shame they don't show up more often.

Can we PLEASE get off this? There wasn't a 1st line center available at the deadline.

Maybe we should complain because they didn't pick up 1984 Mark Messier either.

miller is anything but average. what goal would an elite goalie have stopped last night? the weber turnover/tip? or the briere alone on the door step? or how about zherdev by himself for a tap in?

miller didnt look like the rock he usually is, but he certainly wasnt a reason they lost.

They lost 4-2 to Boston.

Do you even watch this team, or just toss up seemingly uneducated rants about it?

I think Keystone light owes a bit of responsibility for his posts.

I think the first goal should be stoppable for an elite goalie. The Briere goal wasn't his fault but the way he flipped around wasn't how a goalie should react. He looked like Lalime on that one.

I was hoping he would trade Morrisonn for a better veteran defense man but it never picked up any message board steam from anybody else besides me, so. Basically what I'm trying to say is that I know more about everything than everybody else and every single thing I suggest should be taken seriously and immediately put into motion. ;)

Anyways, getting back to the frustration and the disappointment for a minute, I think the Sabres will win the next 3 Games, but they will have to do it one game at a time. lol

Here's how:

1. Fix the breakout. Nobody is paying me to study the game tape and come up with the answers, but somebody better fix the breakout and make it effective for Game 4. Better support from the wingers along the boards, more puck support down low, and players like Gragnani, Myers, and Leopold need to skate it too the red line when the ice is there for the taking. Especially Myers, who was great at that in Game One, it didn't look like a big deal at the time but it does now, don't it?

2. Don't touch the Flyers. Skate away from every scrum, don't lay a finger on any of them. In short, play gay (ie. Flyers "Hockey")!

3. Loft the puck out of the zone. If you are being rushed into a bad decision, or nobody is helping to support the puck in your zone, exhale and loft it out. Aim for center ice, make it a jump ball situation.

4. Get the puck to the front of the net and crash the net. Boucher is not Dominic Hasek. He's Boucher. SO you WILL score goals on him if you aggressively attack the front of the net. get in his kitchen and rattle some pots and pans, spit a juicy hocker right into his home made pizza sauce. Write "Homo" on his kitchen apron. Do Something.

thats called the panger roll. you can move your legs faster (IMO) then your hands, and they cover a larger area. so you roll on your back and kick up your legs.

not gonna lie, though. he didnt do it right.

Yeah I'm not sensing much intensity from Ryan Miller, he almost looks to calm and care free. Not enough anger.

No, I believe he is an above average goalie, who is playing below his abilities the past two games.

And seriously dude, how could you have 'always hated miller'...I mean, what the fuck is there to have 'always hated' about him?

How the fuck do you hate Miller? Seriously? The guy's been our top goaltender for a while, now. The guy does charity work up the ass. He loves this city and it's inhabitance. As for play, he faced in game 2 an assload of penalties then a defensive shit collapse in game 3, now, but because of those two games, he's an average goalie. You know who an average goalie is? Craig Anderson. Sergei Bobrovski. Ondrej Pavelec.

Miller isn't in a group with them.

I'm just curious, because there is not much to hate about Miller, except a little bit of his on and off play. But that doesn't warrant hate.

The word hate doesn't mean what it used to mean. It's been softened up by the retard generation. So you can say you hate something now and really just mean that you sometimes get kind of annoyed by it/him/her.
