If the Sabres win this series this game will stand out as a classic performance in Ryan Miller's career.

And THAT is why he's a super star player.

Great game, thank God the refs figured out how to read Dives and not call everything, that allowed both teams to actually play hockey. And when that happens, the Sabres are better.

Myers all but dominated this game like he did in Game 1 as well, and I am in AWE of how he dragged Richards AND a ref like one big collective rag doll. I haven't seen a display of strength like that SINCE I WITNESSED TWO INBREED AMISH MEN wheel AN ENTIRE BOAT. I would be afraid of Myers if I played in the NHL.

I do hope Carter is okay, at least not anything serious that may require surgery. I always admired the way he shoots a puck, but other than that...

I I was happy with the play of a lot of players tonight. Major props to Kaleta for his jump/flying in the air scramble to try to keep that puck in at the line, Myers wanting to hulk out on anything in orange & black.. you name it. A lot of guys just showed up and now, we head back into the belly of the beast to try to steal one.

I have a feeling blood shall be spilled in game 5. And I hope it is dripping from the arm which Myers rips from Briere that can likely be found hanging out of Tyler Tall's mouth. I think we're seeing the coming out party for the mean streak in Myers.

Once upon a time, there was a play around the net. Young Buffalo Sabres defenseman Myers was like



Then, came Danny Briere and he thought it was a good idea to mess with Miller. When the dust cleared, Danny boy looked up.



It was at that point where he pooped himself a little. Because standing before him, was not the lanky sophomore which many pegged him to be. For what stood before him was a much, much meaner and very hungry Myers...



This caused Danny to think of what he had just done by upsetting the Sabres goalie and the big guy.





Which lead to the aftermath....






In the end, the Sabres won, and Miller and Myers were very happy.

i can't stand daniel briere. that douchebag is one of the dirtiest, sneakiest players in the nhl. i don't know how you can be such a perfect role model and great person on the ice then be so dirty and dishonest on the ice.

slashing, jabbing, spearing, cross checking, slew footing...it's never below the line of morality for mr daniel briere.

he's a dirty, rotten fucker. and anyone who's seen me post since 06 knows i have felt this way the entire time i've been on the sabres' boards.
