So with Boyes not having scored in 15? straight games now is this a cause for concern? Seeing that the reason we got him was to produce goals... Or is he just another one of those "STREAKY" players that hopefully gets hot at the right time..

no ones really scoring. not fair to call out brad boyes, who despite not scoring, has been very very noticeable in, IMO, in very positive ways.

Yup, I'm down with this statement.

I agree. He's been making a lot of plays and it's more of a team problem with goals. Bunches or none....no middle ground

the problem is that since hecht went down, he's had to play center. he's only played center in the nhl for like 100 games, and nearly the entirety of his success comes from playing the wing. you can't expect a wing to just switch to pivot and be good.

Boyes was great at wing with the right players. That isn't happening right now. If Roy comes back, this team will have a completely different dynamic... in a good way.

Now we wait for Tom to come in here and blame you all for not being as harsh on players as you are on miller.

Boyes has been pretty meh in a lot of ways. The upside to that is that it includes not being terrible, but I think that we can rightfully expect more from our top six other than simply not sucking.

Boyes is the only forward without a point. That's unacceptable.

Well, he's come pretty fucking close lol.

He's been the best forward for puck movement, IMHO. Which, without Sekera, is an important piece in this series.

This is the Boyes that we heard about when we first got him in the trade. We just need him to heat up.

At center, he's just a space filler. On the wing, he can be good. Switching back and forth...no good.

I liked what was happening with the Boyes/Ennis/Stafford line at the end of the regular season. Since, they've lost their effectiveness so of course Lindy split them up before the last game. hopefully those guys can find some success on their new lines.

I hope he brings some testicular fortitude to this game, because so far he has been a post season vagina.

Man he's creating a lot of opportunities out there past couple of games. It'd be nice if he can burry some of those opportunities. Hopefully Roy and Hecht return soon and then I guess the wing is where this guy is most dangerous so let just hope it happens soon

(Knock on wood)

6 games and zero points.

Feel free to get emotionally invested in this Stanley Cup playoff series anytime now Boyes, maybe even Game 7? Kind of need some urgency and offensive zone will to score. It would really be a big fucking help if that's not too much trouble thanks. :snooty:

No confidence or something. He should have either taken a shot on that giveaway tonight, or passed it atleast a little better...

Fuck confidence just work harder. I mean yeah i got a 2 inch penis, sure I'm impudent, and will I last more than 30 seconds? No, I certainly will not. But when a hot chick says she wants to have sex with me I will dry hump her leg until my back breaks.

Tonight we get to see what Boyes can do without Connolly and with Hecht and Roy. It may be one game, but it should help see where we are at for next year.

We haven't won a game in a LONG while as a blowout. Tonight the Sabres will absolutely blow out the Flyers in their own barn. It will be amazing.
