What's this weird feeling I'm having? I think it's optimism! Right after that goal, I was mentally exhausted. I poured so much into that game (From my couch, nervously cramming jelly beans into my mouth) that right after Ville fucking Leino put home the winner I was completely depressed. I felt like the series had just been lost, not tied.

But now, I have this strange feeling bubbling up inside me! I think we're going to win game 7! I'd be shocked if Roy doesn't play, and trading Roy for Connolly is a fantastic trade. Philly is the one playing at home with the pressure on them! Pronger won't be a factor, and they'll have to roll 5 defenseman again! Who knows how their goaltending will turn out, and we have Ryan Motherfucking Miller! We're freaking amazing on the road, and this team has shown they don't back down to pressure. They punch pressure in the face, and then do a victory dance on its grave.

We're going to be fine, guys. Let's go Buffalo.

Flyers are good too. Close game, they earned the win.

If you would have told me this was going 7 games when it started I'd have been ok with it.

I have no choice but to agree. I'll be terribly depressed if I don't. :p

the feeling is dejected. if the sabres win in 7, we all feel great.. we lose in 7, its 2001 all over again, when we wonder what could have been.

im bummed, but im not out.

As long as the flyers have a sieve in the net (and of course they will), we've got a good shot at winning...

Even if they win, this isn't the year they make any kind of run.

Consider this right now. Special Niedermayer is your #1 center.

I like their chances. If they do win it, with their injuries right now, it's a massive accomplishment.

If they don't, they still took a very good team to the wall.

My perspective from the start: This year is for experience. Hopefully we make a run, but experience is key

But that's the great thing about it! This isn't our year - not even close! It's not like 2006 when we knew we had to make a run because Dru or Briere was leaving during the summer. All our best players are locked up, we've got a ton of money coming off the books, and our owner wants to win a cup SOON. He's going to spend money to bring in 2 or 3 pieces to complete this team. The future is very bright for this team.

As much as Niedermayer has played well this playoff I really hope they don't bring him back especially if he end up blocking folingo, Adam or Kassian.

Feeling sad, I need a little more time to digest this loss. But I know the Sabres can do it. But right now I'm just really bummed out.

Yeah I was thrilled to just get in, and if we do pull this series out, we'll be running into a brick wall in Washington, who was the team I wanted to avoid as much as possible in the playoffs.

Fuck the flyers, their fans and families. Fuck each and every one of them in the ear.

Win game 7 on their ice and willingly give that puck to Pronger as a reminder as to how fucking stupid he is for collecting pucks. He can put it right up there with the cup winning goal from last year if he likes.

Ruff confirms that Roy will be in for Game 7.

Says Connolly is in bad shape.
