Just say this much I would be more than thrilled if Buffalo made it to the second round. But next opponent would be Washington and that's where are run would stop if we do get by Philly.

I'm happy that the Sabres made it at all.

But I'm scared about Tuesday.

And even if they win, the Capitals are going to tear them apart.

But that's the great thing about it! This isn't our year - not even close! It's not like 2006 when we knew we had to make a run because Dru or Briere was leaving during the summer. All our best players are locked up, we've got a ton of money coming off the books, and our owner wants to win a cup SOON. He's going to spend money to bring in 2 or 3 pieces to complete this team. The future is very bright for this team.

Couldn't agree more.

As a Sabres fan, I am more than proud of this team this year. They have laid it all on the ice the last half of the year and now in the playoffs.... that is all I as a fan have ever wished for.... a team that plays with heart and soul.

Ennis is a fucking monster. Gerbe? Kid is tiny but he's body slamming mother fuckers. Weber? Not a single fuck is given by him when it comes to letting the other team know who the Sabres are and where that blue paint in front of Miller is. That came out wrong, but I think you know what I mean  Gragani? Kid is remarkable having stepped in like this. Myers is becoming a fucking monster; he will find his offensive game again next season on top of it as well I believe. The attitude has changed from everything I can tell, just like Terry and Ted said it would and wanted it to. I feel different as a fan.

maybe so, without pommers and timmy. It's just too much to ask of this team without those two guys though. We already had a luckluster offense, but without these two we're kind of screwed. I think we could beat them with them though. Not saying it would be easy, but Washington still has fail train written all over them. The played NYR in the first round el. o. el. Their playoffs haven't started yet.

I'm totally okay with us going out in the first round; the fact that we made the playoffs this year with the group of guys we have (a lot of 2nd and 3rd line talent), and the fact that we might even make it out of the first round says volumes for the amount of heart this team has shown. Terry Pegula has something to do with it, but the heart these players has can only be attributed to themselves. Each and every one of them has stepped up because they have it in them, not because they have some new owner that bought a nice carpet for the dressing room.

Blowing these multi-goal leads has made me sick, but if the team can shore up their own end for Game 7 they will win.

I hope.

Just a fools hope.

They will win and beat the Caps too, the Caps may be the best team in the East but the Sabres are the 2nd best team in the East. It will be an epic confrontation.

But Boyes HAS GOT TO FUCKING DO SOMETHING and they need to get everybody playing well in their own zone. No more weak links.

Flyers are good too. Close game, they earned the win.

If you would have told me this was going 7 games when it started I'd have been ok with it.

I did tell you. Well, not you so much as everyone. Well, not everyone so much as that was my prediction in CV's prediction thread. So there.

You guys are scared of the Caps? I'm not scared of the Caps at all.

I'm not scared about Tuesday either. 1-2 at home, and 2-1 on the road. Lets go get it done.

I have a good feeling about Tuesday too. For me, my theory is that the playoffs is a giant Seven Conspiracy. Seventh Seed, going into Game Seven. Do it for Rick! Make him proud!

I still feel sick about yesterday. I thought they would do it and end the series. Game 7 in Philly without any momentum and a lot of injured guys is tough.

You should be.

They are just as potent offensively, but learned to play defense.

I agree man. If you were to ask me even a month or two ago I'd say our chances were long that we'd make it in not to mention how I felt in January. We made it, we got our young guys more experience and with the new owner and the off season coming up I'm stoked. Next season will be bright if they make the moves they claim they want to make. Improve the Center position, the D, Enroth as back up and buff up our depth up front. If they win Tuesday I will lose my voice cheering, but if they don't I'm still going to be happy because our near future looks a lot better than it has in awhile. And if we do win, the Washington series will be brutal.

Anything can happen dude. Don't throw in the towel just yet. If we do make it to the next round a lot of pressure will be on the Caps and with pressure comes mistakes and with mistakes come opportunities for the oppsoing team.

Plus we were a much better team overall then the Rangers.

My fan card is still current and there is no towel throwing yet. Just saying that I'm looking more towards the summer trades honestly. This team, wth the right tools added and some holes plugged would be well on its way to being a cup contender.

I'm scared about Tuesday. I probably won't even be able to eat until after the game. I'm just so frustrated that Buffalo can't play a 60 minute game. And there's no reason to think they suddenly will on Tuesday night.

The goaltender that plays the best tomorrow will determine the series winner.
