Even worse is this is AFTER they fixed the supposed battery issues.

I hate my Atrix. Really wish I had just gotten an iPhone 4 instead.

Is there anything I can do besides buy one used? It has been just over 60 days with this phone, but I'm just really hating it.

I'm just personally not a fan of Android. I just loved the iPhone way more overall.

I actually went to AT&T and they let me return it. Exchanged it for an iPhone and a $35 restocking fee. :)

My girlfriend is considering an Atrix. Was there anything you didn't like other than the Android software? I have an Android and she likes the software and interface, but I'm not familiar with AT&T's specific phones.

Whole reason I got an iPhone was because I thought android wasn't as refined as iOS. Didn't run as smoothly to me.

I like most of the apps on the iPhone better in comparison to the Android equivalent. For example, the ESPN Scorecenter app. Also, I can't get UBmail on the Android phone where it comes automatically. I'd have to forward it to my gmail which is pretty annoying.

I also found that it froze somewhat often and that the finger swipe thing would stop working. I had to pull the battery out more times than I would have liked to fix the freezing issue. IDK, I just didn't really care for it.

my new phone buzz just wore off. like 2 weeks ago. i love having it to track storms, email, facebook, mobile porno.... its pretty awesome. there are a few things about my storm i miss... like... that it was smaller and fit in my pocket easier. and.. uh.... the custom text message alerts. yeah, thats about it.

The one thing I don't like about my DX is the car dock screen. Otherwise, it's aces.

So mostly software that you didn't like then? Although the freezing could be hardware related. I have no issues with my Droid 2 freezing, never have had to pull the battery or anything.

She likes the Android OS and everything, but no real experience with the hardware. I've generally had good experiences with Motorola phones in the past (my Droid 2 is great, also had many Motorola phones in the past), but no experience with the AT&T lineup.

I have my UBMail forwarding to my Gmail anyway...for the longest time, those of us on the Google accounts couldn't get POP or IMAP access anyway...so I had to forward to use Outlook. I think they've fixed that now, but I have so many email accounts that I forward them all to one anyway. I think you can use the Google Sync app on iDevices with UBMail, but not Android's built-in Google Sync? The whole login and authentication system is screwy as it is.

have any of you guys heard anything about the 'Echo' for sprint? It has dual screens set up kind of like a Nintendo DS. I've currently got the 1st gen EVO, which still rocks, but the two screens of the Echo just might be gimicky and cool enough to use my upgrade.

I've known about it. I haven't seen any hands-on reviews of it.

I can get my UBmail directly to my iPhone through its mail thing. It didn't work in any form, except via the browser, using an app or whatever on my Atrix. If you go to CIT's website, there's nothing about setting it up on Android, only BB, WinMo, and iPhone. I don't understand how it doesn't work on Android, it just must not be set up or something.

IDK, I can text sooo much easier on my iPhone, even without Swype texting. I like the touchscreen way better on the iPhone than I did on the Atrix. It's a lot more responsive.

Yeah, it's something whacky with UB's mail login. Since it's not directly through Google, but goes through the UB Shibboleth and then gets handed over to Google, it doesn't play nice with a lot of things. For the first year or so of UBMail powered by Google there was no POP or IMAP capabilities - had to forward to Gmail if you wanted to use Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.

I have the Droid 2 with the slide-out keyboard, which I love. I have issues typing on a touchscreen - whether it's an iPhone/iPod Touch, Droid, whatever. Although nothing was worse than the Blackberry Curve.

One good thing about how I am stuck with my BB pearl is now that the iPhone 5 is now delayed until this fall and I can finally get credits towards a new phone with will be the iPhone 5

I use the shit out of Swype. So handy.

VZW has doing something awesome - when they cancelled the 1 year contract, they began lowering retail prices for phones.
