It is only talk at this point. However, given the status of several current franchises, the logical step is relocation. Markets that actually embrace hockey, an incredible concept.

In Gary Bettman's world though; one never really knows...

I'm getting tired of the talk lol. I'd love to see another Canadian franchise though.

Hopefully they can make it happen. I just hope one of the southern teams moves there, where the sport can be appreciated.

A lot of backlash is being generated by folks who don't want the tax-hike that would be suffered to subsidize a new arena that may (or may not) receive a team from what is viewed as a capricious and deceitful NHL (aka Gary Bettman.)

They don't want to spend hundreds of millions on a "flirtation".
