That's definitely the eagle head from the Austrian gear.

I wouldn't mind seeing Grier come back that much, but I wouldn't be all that excited about it either. I just hope he doesn't end up in a Rivet-type situation where he gets signed but never plays and spends most games in the press box.

But Grier seems more respected by the other players and coaches, media etc. than Rivet. And while Rivet did an okay job to not go out in the media and criticize Ruff for not playing him, he was very upset about it. I think Grier would understand his position and accept the fact that he might be put aside for younger players sometimes. Overall, I think Grier's leadership and respect would benefit the team enough to keep him.(Only if Nieds doesn't come back. You can't keep both IMO.)

Why would you want Neids over Grier? Trying to think back over the season it seems that Grier was more "useful" than Neids. Unless you want him because he's a center?

Please excuse any & all spelling errors.

Yeah. Either Special Nieds or Grier would be coming back, probably not both, though. We at least want to give BZK a chance, am I right?

Kassian absolutely does not make the team out of camp. He's shown an inability to control himself yet again on the ice.

I wasn't saying I had any preference for Nieds. I just think they can't keep both, so if they choose Nieds, Grier probably doesn't come back. In fact, I'd prefer Grier over Niedermayer, but that depends how Darcy see things. :)

i'd take nieds and grier both again, but if i had to get one, it'd be nieds. because he's a niedermayer.

I'd say Grier. He is a good leader and I agree that he would take whatever role is presented to him. Whether that be the fourth line or the press box. 1 year signing will not hurt.
