They're really making Buffalo a place where players would want to play.

Maybe I'm looking at this presser through Blue & Gold colored glasses, but I got a different feel from this year’s end of season address as opposed to last season. I didn't feel like there is a big smoke & mirrors act going on this time around. Added, I don't think it's anyone’s concern as to how long Lindy is going to be bench boss other than the people who need to know within the organization.

Overall, I was happy with the responses to the questions, especially the address to the goalie equipment issues.

Very interested to see what goes on July 1st.

Is it me or do we have bad luck with injuries every post season?

Glad Ruff was resigned. Good news there. I really want him to be the coach that gets this team a cup. It just wouldn't be the same without him. I barely even remember Nolan behind the bench anymore.

Great news. Hopefully Darcy can supply Lindy with the right tools to win the cup.

On another note does anyone notice how much a douche Larry Quinn is compared to Mr. Black?

Who cares? Quinn is gone from the Sabres, and mucking up the waterfront. The less I think about him, in any context, the better.

I'm just totally thrilled about the positive vibe in this organisation. Lindy and Darcy both seem to be so "rejuvenated" so to speak.

And one more thing about Pegula and him emphasizing on doing the little things... how classy is it to give out those gift boxes to the spouses of the players? This is such a first class gesture...

This project is exciting. Can someone lead us to more information about it?

Hahahaha Mike.

And that's really cute that the Pegulas gave gift baskets to the players' wives. "Thank you for lending us your husband on the road." HA!

I like that Regier is talking about the NHL needing to establish a standard for goalie masks.

why? players can ask for safer masks. they're adults. i don't like that we have to hold athlete's hands like they're children wiping their ass for the first time.

what? majority of goalies wear warwick and itech masks. itech is considered the safest, but warwicks are really good too. i dont see any way to make the safer, outside making carbon fiber masks mandatory. which most are wearing anyways.

having masks painted actually weakens the shell, albeit not by much. but thats why you can repaint a mask.
