I feel really torn here. Half of me wants them to win and finally break the curse of the 1970 expansion, the other half wants them to go down in flames. What do you all think?

I want them to lose. I would like to see the 1970 expansion curse to end... but I want that end to be from Buffalo not Vancouver. So Screw them, go Tampa.

I like Ryan Kesler and the Sedins a lot. I've been rooting for them since we got eliminated.

Vancouver and Minnesota have always been my teams in the west. Not only that but I actually like most of the players on Vancouver's roster, especially Kesler. Ideally I'd like to see them play Buffalo for the SC, but one of them winning is better than none of them winning.

I really do not like Kesler, Lapierre, Luongo, and still have a grudge against Torres. Not to mention that the Sedins look like they don't give a fuck half the time. So I'd rather the Canucks lose.

Right on that about the Sedin twins. By far the best passer and scorer duo in the league the last few years. But when they're not doing it they look like upright sticks that have something up their asses.

I'd really like to see Boston, Tampa, Vancouver and San Jose lose this year.

I couldn't agree more with this statement.

In all honesty, I wouldn't be overly butt-hurt if the B's won it all this year. Out of the final 4, there is at least 1 guy on each team that I absolutely fucking HATE, but if I had to pick one, you can't go wrong with an original 6 team. You know, as long as it isn't Montreal, Toronto (sweet jesus if that were to happen...) or the Rangers.

The only thing I hate about Vancouver winning the Cup is that I want Buffalo to be the first team from the 1970 expansion to win it all.

I'd rather Sharks shock us all, or the Lightning. Hell, I'm so adamant about this, I'd rather have the Bruins win. Is it wrong that I don't hate the Bruins?

I hope they lose, I can't stand hearing abou how they are the second coming of Christ from the Canadian media. Plus I hate Kesler a lot, biggest douchebag on the Canucks roster.

I get why some people don't like Kesler, but the guy plays hard and is pretty damn good. He'd be insta-captain in Buffalo, and is pretty much the epitome of a playoff performer, because his style works in both regular and post-season.

Considering that, and that two utter and total jacks like Torres and Lapierre play for Vancouver, Kesler is most definitely NOT the "biggest douchebag on the Canucks roster".

As for the Sedins, no surprise that Markus hates european skill players. What is a surprise is that his pre-recorded critique of euros has not worn out yet. Anyone who doesn't play like Kesler, Roenick, Doan, etc. is not automatically a lazy, apathetic wuss. Any friggin team in the league would want a pair of skill players like them that took a significant pay cut to stay together and stay with the same team. That freed up cap space to bulk up the d-corps, and the Sedins deserve every credit if they win the SC for what they did both on and (unselfishly) off the ice.

WTF were you reading? I was commenting on another's quote about them LOOKING like awkward dudes when they aren't scoring. In the same paragraph I called them the best passing and scoring combo in the NHL. Get real dude and read before you post.

Edit: and as for what you said about them, I don't disagree one bit. I would take them any day for their salaries on this team.

I want a Vancouver/Tampa final. That way you'd have what I believe is the farthest distance in the league separating the two teams (or make that second-largest since Miami would be a little further).

I think I'm real. You whole heartedly agreed with Rud, but I shouldn't have picked on you because you didn't bring it up (this time). Your opinion on euros is well chronicled, but it really isn't that big a deal to me. Anyway, I've watched Vancouver a bunch and the Sedins look pretty active to me when they don't have the puck. FWIW, they have only been minus players once - a combined -5 in their 1st season. Every season since they've both been plus players and are +158 and +146 for their careers. They're playing well without the puck and in their own zone.

Ok I think you misunderstood my original post lol. I was talking about how they looked, lol.

And I wouldn't say I hate euro players. I do not like many of the euro leagues and how they play, but some of my favorite players include Lidstrom and Ovie over the last year or so.

But yea I'm not doubting how effective those guys are.
