I love that the Boston pizza boards advertisement is crossed out and replaced with Vancouver.

Yea that was classy...

Nice hit on Lucic too.

And look, all 10 skaters are getting engaged during brawls. And Chara goes down hard.

Good job officials on getting the Canucks win, what a joke this officiating has become.

And Raffi has scored the game winner.

I'm rooting for the Canucks in the series, but they were biting and diving tonight and still got the win.

And the linesman decided not to call offside on that play.

Because it wasn't offside. I know you hate Kesler more than Hitler hated Jews, but his skate was on the line.

Yea I reviewed it a few times from the camera angle that NBC provided us, and I think he caught the line.

Great goaltending game though. It was going to come down to one mistake, and Lucic got caught watching the play.

If the series is full of games like this, i'll be pleased.

Screw Raffi Torres. Bastard!

Only reason I'm rooting for Boston is because of Tim Thomas. Otherwise, screw the Bruins too. haha. :)

Yes it was, his skate wasn't touching the ice. But they would have won it in OT anyways.

if you have to argue whether his skate was touching the line or not, and have this kind of inconclusive answer after watching multiple replays.... then its safe to cut the linesman some slack.

On a side note, the 'nucks have been diving their way through the _entire_ postseason.

Agreed, not as bad as the Flyers did last season and for the 2 rounds they played this season. The politically correct term would be over dramatic embellishment, so as to protect NHL players delicate sensibilities and egg shell fragile egos. The thing is, if you get high sticked and smile about it like some sadistic freak, or just ignore it like a stoic mountain man, you may in fact not get the call. The ref might dismiss it as a miss.

SO I don't have a problem with a Ferrence fighting through a hold in dramatic fashion, or Chara jerking his head back a little extra after getting hit in the face. But I don't like to see how the Canucks get the same exact high stick and fall to the ice clutching a face with both hands, or a Sedin curling up in the infantile position after a little poke to the stomach.

But I don't think the Canucks are executing SET DIVES like the Flyers do. There's a big difference between overreacting to an actual penalty, and creating the entire episode. Take Powe for example, he would stand in front of the net after talking so much shit or getting away with a little slash, and then you give him a gentle push and he goes FLYING (as per their name) and he gets the call. That entire scenario is all a ruse and I fucking HATE that shit. They have been doing that shit for so many years and that whole franchise is a joke.

That "joke" franchise unfortunately has that mysterious winning formula.
