That's really cute. I love ducks, and really want to own one one day cause they're awesome. This actually reminds me of when a robin laid eggs in a hanging plant right on the front porch of our house. We were pretty sure it was a new mama, cause I don't think it quite realized how busy it would be with people walking in and out. She'd fly off into the woods right next to our house any time someone would leave or enter, but would always keep an eye out to make sure we weren't messing with anything. I got a picture of the nest, too while mom was gone.
I thought it was pretty nifty. Didn't get to see the birds after they hatched, as the mom must have moved them or something, but it was cool seeing them and how protective the mother bird was.
