still feel like 6.2 is too high, but at the same time.. some of that is for all his service.

some people here said 1 million or let him go. because thats what yzerman did his last year. and people here think stevie y sets the bar for everything. fairly or unfairly.

Lidstrom is still dominant in this league. He would be on our top defensive line.

6.2 is a lot for any player in the NHL but at least he's still effective.

its what yzerman did, so some people expected the same from lidstrom.

Lidstrom is still one of the top defensemen in the NHL. 6 mill (or around there) is fair.

Wow 6.2 million for a 40 year old defensemen. I hope he has a good year next year or else people will be hating so hard on him.

I agree but with the cap being raised it really makes no difference now.
