Philly trades Carter and Richards, but get Vorcaek, Simmonds, Schenn, a 1st, a 3rd and room for Bryzgalov out of this. Thing is...I think Philly won the day.

Philly didn't think Carter would be a playoff performer, and they were tired of Mike Richards' bs. In the end they clear about 3 mil in cap space and get the extra picks. This won't put them in contention for Brad Richards, unless there's more to come, but they are determined to solidify their goaltending, so I think it's about an even day over all for Philly. As it stands for now, they give up some offense for some young talent and good picks, and a goalie.
