Yeah, I know that part, but everybody needs an AHL affiliate, right? And wouldn't this make Quebec's case a bit stronger? :think:

(BTW, I really know nothing about this kind of stuff... LOL)

also, i don't know how many of yall used to go to amerks games back when, but OH MAN i can't wait to go and hear this again at games..

i dunno... it was just one of those special things i remember hearing at every game as a kid. it was fun we'd dance and sing. haha

Because it's 2700 miles.

Compare that to the ~70 miles between Rochester and Buffalo.

So glad this went through. Didn't really doubt that Pegs would get it done if he wanted it. Makes so much more sense than Portland, though really, it wasn't a bad affiliation. Seems to be a classy organization up there.

The wheels to reunite Buffalo and Rochester happened in November while Goli still owned the team. In fact, they initiated it.
