Rumor before was Kotalik, Regehr and a 2nd to Buffalo for Butler and Byron. We'll see what the actual details are, though.

I don't think we're taking on Kotalik to have him on the roster. I can easily see him getting bought out or waived before the summer is over.

What would you think of this deal if it was just Regehr and a 2nd for Byron and Butler? That's essentially how I'm viewing it.

Kots would be a salary dump from CGY. Kotz either gets traded again or pushed to ROC (<--- so cool to say that again), or at worst bought out.
