NYI has a ton of cap room to spare. They'll throw suitcases at Ehrhoff and hope it's enough for him to not consider another team. I'm hoping he wants to sign in Detroit, and makes the Wiz available for Buffalo.

Kind of glad Laich is staying in Washington, only a team like the caps would ties them selves up more with giving out dumb contracts. I know he's kind of underrated but 4.5/5 million for him is a little much.


And erhoff obvouisly thinks hes worth a lot more money after one breakout year. I bet he get at least 6-7mil per year because Wang and snow are both morons.

I was more or less referring to how there are no real top tier free agents outside of Richards and a large majority of this years top talent has already re-signed with their teams. This crop just seems lacking in impact players and it looks like a trade might be a more likely scenario after all these signings the last day or two....

I'm doubting Erhoff signs in NY. He's played for two very good winning teams. He's not downgrading.

Wisniewski might sign with Columbus... but I just don't know right now. The open market might look too enticing to him.
