Can't complain about much.

- Traded spare parts for a big mean Western Conference defensemen, AND convinced him to waive a NTC in the process.
- Somehow sniped a pick for a guy hours from the open market.
- Went agressive and traded to sign someone before they hit the open market, AND got it done.
- Signed the 2nd best available center.

I can't complain about any of this. A for Awesome.

A "B" from me. I don't like the terms of the Leino contract, it's too much money and/or too long.
He was probably under time pressure and the market value of centers was high, but I'd guess Leino won't get 60 points next season.
I would gladly eat crow though.

Philly was offering Leino 4y / around $3.5M per. Buffalo went a little longer and $1M per more, which is pretty much expected in the free agent overpayment department.

The contract is fine. It also does NOT have a NMC/NTC on it, so they can look to move him if it would come to that.

It's impossible to tell if it's a good contract or not, just like Stafford's. Both had a good season and were inconsistent before. Both players have a lot of talent and the potential to be a steal or a bust in the upcoming seasons, because both players have yet to show two good seasons in a row.
