It's not a problem at all. If you're going to spend to the cap, this is what you live with.

I said having 21 is a problem, and the best option is to fit a camp guy in for 22.

Ellis is 2-way so if someone impresses at camp he can be sent down without any trouble(ie waivers).

Ellis would need to be placed on waivers to move to Rochester after the waiver period begins.

I have always been under the impression that a 2-way contract somehow made a player exempt from waivers. I blame the NHL video games.

Yeah, EA causes that problem most often I'm learning.

We aren't bitching about trying to spend more for once. I personally like leaving one or two spots for the next man up scenario. We have a studly minor league system so we may as well use it.

I really hope Kassian or Foligno impresses outta camp and makes the squad. I think we could really use a player like that on this team....
