My grandmother's house is on the street you walk down to get into Art Park. Plus all the bartenders in that area went to highschool with me...haha

My friend is in a band with the owner(s?) of the Brickyard. I'm sure that's who you're referring to, right?

after the concert my friend and I waited for him to come sign autographs/take pictures by the buses. there was a ton of kids waiting who were there waiting. everyone was calling his name, and hw just kept his back turned to everyone. one kid even had one of the guys in his band bring something over for conor to sign. needless to say, the kid didnt get whatever it was back. conor just went back on the bus.


I havent waited like that to meet a band in years, but ive definitely never saw anyone so blatantly be an ass to their fans like that. including much bigger bands like incubus, and reel big fish.

Conor Oberst has always seemed like an arrogant prick who acts that way because he's ~intelligent~ and can write clever lyrics. I like his music, but he's a doucher.

yeah. i love bright eyes, and have since i was pretty young, but i just can't respect any artist who has no issue completely disregarding his fans and completely ignoring them like that. he really is a self important douche. and yet i'm still listening to fevers and mirrors right now.

He's good and he knows it. I'm really shocked he wouldn't stop for a minute and at least say hi. I've heard Patrick Kaleta is the same way, though. He just ignores fans every time he leaves HSBC Arena. I'm pretty sure I remember Phil(?) saying that someone once yelled at him to remember where he came from. They wouldn't be anywhere without their fans although I'm sure it can get annoying. Doesn't mean that he couldn't at least acknowledge people.
