YAY! I went to Tullys last week while visiting and the wings SUCKED! The bartenders were just this side of rude...actually one was the other side of rude...bitch! I had stopped there last year and thought it was a bad day for them...but no, it is normal for them to be fucked.

After visiting Tullys, I can safely say I will never go there again. So, perhaps the 7th will work out for me....

OK OK OK...Friday night will be at The Aud. Alumni will be there, and there will be a live band as well.

Saturday night - the night of the meet and greet - will be at Tully's.

Although, if you ask me, I don't care if I ever step foot into Tully's ever again. That place has NOTHING on The Aud in terms of atmosphere, bar deals, and monstrous burgers.

I crazy edited the original post to clear up ANY confusion pertaining to that weekend.

there are other sports bars like say buffalo wild wings, the amherst ale house, the buffalo roadhouse grill. bunch of places if tully's has been rubbing you the wrong way.

The original reason for picking Tully's is centrality - it was smack in the middle of the original three: Schony, Ice, and Howie.

And, seriously, Wild Wings? Only if my life depended on it. The other two I've yet to frequent, but The Aud is a seriously legit place to see a game. The entire bar is packed by people in jerseys and the game is the singular focal point. No music, no distractions - just a dozen TV's all playing the Sabres game. The walls are covered in pictures of action from the Aud and with autographed jerseys (including a Chiefs jersey signed by all three Hanson actors)

Then why are we going to Tully's on Saturday if The Aud seems like a more ideal venue? Every time I've been to Tully's it seems as though our group gets shafted with the seating arrangements.

I suggested Dave and Busters because people were sick of us always losing when the MNG's were at Tully's. I couldn't attend, unfortunately (I tried, though), but I understand the events that took place were, roughly: Everyone meets up at Dave and Busters, everyone says "Fuck this noise", everyone relocates to Tully's.

I would imagine any attempt to relocate and official MNG to anywhere but Tully's would result in backlash, so I decided to do my own rogue MNG's at The Aud.

Hence, our dual MNG's.

Hmm ok. I've never been to The Aud but from how you described it, it sounds like an ideal venue to watch a Sabres game (all the TVs, no distractions). Maybe if it's as nice as you described, people wouldn't mind just ditching Tully's altogether. But if people really want to go to Tully's, I'm fine with that...doesn't really matter where it is as long as good people show up. I've just never been to The Aud and it sounds intriguing!
