SUNRISE, Fla. -- The Sabres appear ready to field a full lineup Wednesday when they face the Panthers in BankAtlantic Center, which just had a test of its fire protection systems and had strobe lights flashing as Buffalo practiced.

Coach Lindy Ruff has his full arsenal on the ice, which means the players who made the team look so impressive in its first four games are back together:

Thomas Vanek-Derek Roy-Drew Stafford

Clarke MacArthur-Tim Connolly-Jason Pominville

Jochen Hecht-Tim Kennedy-Mike Grier

Matt Ellis-Paul Gaustad-Patrick Kaleta

Spare line: Daniel Paille-Adam Mair-Nathan Paetsch

Vanek missed the past two games with an upper-body injury but is practicing fully. The only player not on the ice is defenseman Andrej Sekera, who hurt his ribs in Nashville.

I'm glad to see that Lindy put back the "original" lines from the first few games...let's see if that still remains true by the time the puck drops tomorrow night!

Thank you lord. Maybe he's realized that staying on the same line creates chemistry and will allow you to win. I fully expect this to be another awesome game now that we have these lines back together.

I think ETC is related to Lindy, and pulled some strings to make this happen for a game he gets to go see. We all know how ETC feels about Shakira - he is probably ok to play but ETC nixed it!

Manning the machine gun on the Tyler Myers Bandwagon - just in case any teams have an idea of prying him away from us (3 GM's shot already)

Connolly/Roy - 2 goals in the last 47 playoff games

When we were winning in 05-06, and 06-07 he kept the same lines together also.

He's had Roy and Vanek Together since 05-06 also.

You change the lines in game when nothing is getting generated by those lines, but by the next game you always put them back together.

This is very, very good news. Wyohomeboy is correct, of course, in noting that I pulled the strings to make this happen.
